In need of escapism.
I've been watching and reading the news a lot more often lately, which usually leads to me feeling frustrated/outraged/annoyed/worried. But then the next day I tune in to hear Jon Stewart's spoof or mocking of whatever happened and I end up feeling better. That and television are a nice form of escapism for me.

Meanwhile there are a couple of jobs at the Killeen school district that I want to apply for. One is for a secretary, the other is for a librarian's aide, which I have to take a test for. So wish me luck on both of those things, because I think that sounds nice and comfortable.
Now I'm off to get ready to go see CATS with my mom and my aunt for my birthday. I'm not too excited about CATS itself since I always thought it sounded ridiculous, but it's a thoughtful gift from my mom and I like going out with them and spending time.
I'll try to call you guys later. Sorry I'm being lazy about it. :(
