I grew up in the 98444 area code. No, it was not the most horrible place to live. There was not drive-by's on my block or horrible things. Turn around the corner and it was a different sight. Meth labs, drug dealers, you name it, they all exist in every neighborhood. I think it is funny when people see you and instantly judge you based on your skin color. According to the statistics in the previous entry, my area code has less white people than the national percentage. Furthermore, it has more Asian people than the national percentage. However, I am consistently told by ignorant people that I grew up in a white neighborhood.
Ignorance, Ignore....both looks like they have a similar if not the same root word. I think it is a sign. Ignore ignorance. ALL those dumb ass people out there who think that I grew up a cushy life. COOL> way to go you for stereotyping people.
Just because you have a black girlfriend, a white mom, an asian ancestry, and other culturally diverse make-up does not give you the right to look down on those who have white parents. ITs people like that, that make racism still alive today.
Stereoptypes are not fact. They are the root of a problem watered by ignorance. THEY should be ignored along with the people who agree with them.
Matthew: sometimes, your ignorance makes me sick.
