I'm pretty much convinced an anime is coming soon. Pretty rare to hire such famous seiyu just to do a drama CD. I get the feeling JC Staff will be the animators.
Or around the fall/winter of this year! I'm hoping that it'll become a long anime series, so getting an anime around c120 should minimize fillers and give the production teams lots to work with in terms of plot, changes in art style, character data (data book?) etc.
And besides, 1. if there's a drama cd coming out in Oct., an anime would not be announced after to begin before that, the timing's too weird +no production team is that fast; 2. An anime before two years in Jump? I can't remember it happening; 3. I do wish one could begin at the two year mark, as that seems to be the norm, but I can chalk the delay (hopefully only a delay) up to lack of popularity.
This was long-winded. XD Ahh, I just hope that it'll be adapted well (MTNN, etc., so depressing).
There's no way Jump will stoop to having a January anime. Not happening. If there announcing the CD now I doubt it' to promote an April 2010 anime. This October seems most likely. Just don't expect Naruto/Gintama length, Sket isn't popular enough. It will probably be 24 episodes, Like Neuro or ToRa, with the possibility of a second season or OVA's in 2010.
