*hugs* As for your son... I don't know what to tell you. I don't comment a lot, and we don't know each other in real life, but I do feel for you. It's possible that he's going through something that he perceives as your fault... Or someone has convinced him that something is your fault and he doesn't want to deal with it in an adult manner by discussing the issue.

As much as it hurts, let him go his way. Just make sure you keep him in the loop-- cards, phone calls, etc. He may not respond now, but when he's ready to see the world as it is, and not from inside whatever pain he's trying to swallow right now, he'll come back to you.
