Katie is sick...
Craig was home with Katie today. She's got 100 plus fever and a snuffy nose. The good news is that she is not acting sick at all. Her appetite is great and she is playing and laughing. Craig said that she was cuddly today but not overly droopy.
The last couple of nights she hasn't slept well but this morning her skin was fire hot to the touch. And she smelt sick. I am guessing those without children (and possibly some with) won't understand that statement, but if you know what I'm talking about, well you know what I'm talking about. Luckily Craig is already off on Tuesdays. I am taking off tomorrow to be with her. We are hopeful that the fever will subside and she'll be back to daycare on Thursday.
We are so lucky that she is such an easy child. Even when sick, she is wonderful.
