Dare Me to Move?

You all know I dont like to post very often, but I just thought this was too important! Last week, my family sold our old house and bought a new one! We basically had taken our house off the market, because no acceptable offers had been made on it. And then last Monday, some people came over to look at the house and stayed for like 3 hours, and on Tuesday night they made an offer! The offer was great, but it meant we had to be out of the house by June 1st! So we got busy looking at houses again, and we made an offer on a house, and it was accepted on Saturday morning! I really like it, it's a cute house over by Springer School, on Orangetree Ave (St Francis, the big Safeway shopping center...that area). It's two stories, which is cool because my parents are on the top floor, and I'm on the bottom floor on the opposite side. It has a really nice hot tub in the backyard, which i'm sure we'll all use a lot. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I can. The street seems really friendly, and since I went to Blach, I know a lot of the kids in that area. In fact, a few of my old friends live on my street! Sure, it's a little bit farther away, but since we've basically already bought the house, there's no point in complaining. Plus, I'll get my license soon enough (I got my permit last monday!). Oh, we also have to get a new house number, which is sort of a pain, but its not too bad since everyone calls me on my cell anyway.

Its going to be pretty hectic moving. My mom doesnt even want to start doing anything until after Mother's Day, even though we have to be out of here by June 1st. So mass chaotic packing will probably take place the two weeks after that. And Memorial Day will definitley be moving day for us. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I defintley am going to miss this house. But I'm sure more of that will come later once I'm actually packing.

Life has been pretty good latley. I definitley miss Thomas, but he'll be home on Sunday. Spring break was really fun. The next couple weeks are pretty busy, we have one-acts next weekend (come see them!), and then the dance show, and then a couple weeks later is Senior Showcase. Speaking of one-acts, mine is going really well and I'm really glad I've gotten to know everyone in my cast. My summer is coming together really well, I'm going up to Oregon in July for community service with my youth group. And I'm going back to DC in August for 12 days. And hopefully I'll be interning at Hidden Villa, which will be very cool. And I'll be working at DeMartinis.

So yeah...things are good. And prepare for more updates about the move!
