It's just stuff right? At least that's what they tell you when you lose a bunch. This weekend was Thanksgiving, and I had a great one. My friend Brent came home with me, seeing as a 4 day trip to Florida isn't really worthwhile. We had a good time in Indiana, we broke out the N64, played darts, went Frisbee golf, ate thanksgiving, monopoly, hung out with friends, saw the festival of lights (an extravagant outdoor Christmas light decor), and watched football and hockey. It was a good time, and I was glad that he came with me. Unfortunately, I received a text message Sunday morning stating out house in Philly was broken into over the weekend. I think every roommate lost at least something. I lost my computer, ipod, speakers, ps2, Scrubs Season 3 disk 3, my Steelers backpack, and a few other things. I'm over it, the worst part was that I had a 15 page paper almost done on my computer. I have to talk to my professor tomorrow and see how that works out. I didn't even mean to leave my computer, I packed it up and happened to leave my backpack in the house. Bad luck I guess, but after it's all done, I look back and realize I still have the important things. The rest of this semester may be hell, but I'll get through, I won't fail school, and I still have family, friends, and Jesus who love me very much. And I can't lose that: or, it can't be taken.
