I never got to sit down and write about Spring Break. Well, we went to the beach, we played paintball, met girls, played mini golf, go karts and arcade games, basketball and dodgeball, air hockey, church and crossover, ate at a bunch of good places (my favorite was sonny's), went cannoning and got kicked out of a state park, hung out with cool guys, went in the ocean and pools and hot tubs, played poker and dice, went to a show, walked around ebor and downtown Tampa. I think that's a pretty good summary of the trip. I'm sure that sometime this year I'll be back down there.
Lyrically, I really like Thrice's Vheissu.
The past week has been pretty good. I thought that it would be really hard to come back to school are the week off, but it really wasn't too bad. The semester is already half done, and it looks like it's going to wrap up really well. Tonight I was in a cereal eating contest. The premise: eat a whole box of Lucky Charms. I finished it in about seven minutes and took home first place: a $25 gift card for Best Buy. I'm going to use it to buy some CDs. After eating all that food, I wasn't in the best shape for the intramural hockey game. The team played really well, but the effort only resulted in a tie. But we played our best, so that's good enough. Playing hockey is a humbling experience for me, because I'm one of the worst people on the team. I don't know how to handle the ball or a stick really at all, but I'm having fun and with a bunch of cool guys and that's really all that matters. Now if I could just start playing frisbee again when the weather gets nice, that would be great.
