Being home has been great so far. I've hung out with Team, Angelo, Andrea, Judy, Phil, Chrissy, Callen, and my family. I need to call some other people tomorrow. It's weird to think that I was supposed to be in class today. I had a good home drive with Michelle and Amber. We had some really good conversations.
Today I went to Goodwill, and I forgot how bad the one in Indiana is. I didn't get anything. Chris and I watched "The Frech Connection," which isn't the best movie. The best part of the night came when Phil, Ang, Chris, Chrissy and I had a sweet snowball fight. It probably snowed four inches tonight, but it's already melting. After we had a truce, we went up to Memorial Park, a small park near my house. We built a snowman that's about nine feet tall. I have some pictures that I'll post later. It was quite a task, and we used me as a human ramp to get the middle part on because we couldn't lift it. Judy joined us, and we went back to my house for some hot chocolate. It was really just a great way to start my Thanksgiving. However, as everyone was leaving, Judy noticed her car wasn't where she parked it.
I live across from a small gas station called Sheetz. We have a small driveway, and you can't park on the street. We've been parking at Sheetz for longer than I've had my licence. So Judy, Phil, and I went over to Sheetz to see what was up. THe girl working there was totally lame. She said they towed it. I was mad because it's late, it's a holiday, and there were no other cars in sight. Not even in their parking lot, on the streets either! Then she starts to give me sass. I have to interject here. Maybe she's a night manager, but when I went over for coffee this afternoon, they asked me if I was home over break and how Temple was! They know me. Then, she proceeded to tell me that you can never park there, and that they have always towed cars, and that I have never parked there and not had my car towed. More than anything, I really hate when someone tells ME what I have or have not done. Stupid Jennifer, I'll punch your face in. I told her that I understood they needed to tow the car because it was so busy and wished her a happy holiday quite sarcastically. Maybe I was a jerk. But I really just feel bad for Judy. It just sucks and was a stupid situation.
As you can probably tell, I'm still a little frustrated. And I forgot my power cord for my laptop, so I have to work on a bunch of work before my battery dies. Yet I write here, while I should be doing work. Oh well, I'm on vacation.
