Alright, I figured I would eventually get used to the insanely heavy workload at the Bridgewater Commons Starbucks. I mean, we have 6+ hr rushes, with no periods of rest. And I work 9+ hr shifts there.
But I come home in a near coma state. After every shift. And after 3 weeks, its only getting worse.
And now, I found out the lied about the tips. People in the mall tip horribly; my manager essentially lied about the amounts we make. I make 10-20$ more in tips at Hillsborough, and we have less customer volume.
So I told my manager I want to transfer back. He was unhappy, but he said ok. I still have 6 more shifts there, though. One of them is tonight, and I really am apprehensive about it.
Waeh.
