Library book and Hartwell WI Book Group Read.
We all enjoyed the book, although I personally found the ending a bit odd - like the author wasn't sure how to finish the book and I was waiting for a twist that didn't happen.
A good story though, and another with a mix of modern times (well 1970's) and the past with a daughter reading her Mum's memoirs, similar to the last book we read in the book-club (The StepMother's Diary)) where a mother read her daughter's diary, but this book was so much more interesting with far more readable characters.
