Petsmart-Kennel Cough
So, took Waffles to vet this morning.
She has Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough).
She went to Petsmart to get groomed on 8/10, the vet says incubation is 5-7 days.
Also, the infection has gone past the basic to a secondary infection that is affecting her lungs.
I feel like a bad mama, I exposed her to Kennel Cough (unknowingly..but did it), then thought it would be ok to wait till today to take her to the vet. I should of taken her to the animal hospital yesterday and perhaps the secondary infection could of been avoided.
He says she has a pretty serious case.
I am a very worried emotional mama right now.
How can I go back to work? Ugh...need to pull it together asap.
