The future is now

Man, you're missing the point. It's not what are we going to do in the future, because we cannot live the future. What are you doing today? You've got to justify the air you breathe by adding positivity to life. there are lots of people out there playing lots of games, but the only game that is worth playing is the Master Game. In this game, you experience an expanded consciousness, which leads to expanded power over yourself and the universe that you live in.
I recommend that you read "The Master Game" by Robert De Ropp. He wrote it in 1969, but it is so relevant today in the world where people have sold out their individuality to become part of a machine that provides them with security and relieves them of the responsibility of thinking for themselves. You are at a place where there is no one to guide you, because you are surrounded by those who cannot see past the next good feeling or material possession.
Maybe you need to get out of the city, to divest yourself of all the baggage of the urban social scene, to find the real world and the God who made it. It took me 25 years to find what really matters in life, so I'm not telling you that you will find it quickly, but you've got to start the journey now, before you're and old guy like me.
Remember, being comfortable is synonymous with being anesthetized. When you are under the influence of all the crap that society tries to tell you is needed for happiness, then you can't see that none of it leads anywhere except to need more of it. Comfort is a drug that will numb your life and prevent you from living in the realm of true knowledge, a world where danger exists and must be dealt with.
Listen to your mother as far as her experience extends, but realize that she has no experience except seeking to be protected from the harsh realities of true life by the method used by most females. Do not be guided by her, because she doesn't know about life. One cannot know life until one confronts the closeness of death. this is a dangerous proposition, but if you can learn from one who has been close enough to see the other side you will no have to do it yourself.
I know life, because I have felt the grasp of death and escaped it. Ask me anything you want. Email me at joseph_garnier@yahoo.com Your brother, Joe
