bad day...

today, overall, was not great for several reasons. i had originally hoped to maybe relax for the day before the interview and enjoy a brief weekly appointment with a doctor i've been seeing for a while. unfortunately, i guess i was meant to have "one of those days". first, there was that overbearing heat. god knows anyone who sits around in that for too long starts to get cranky, and eventually want to kill someone. then, after working out (not a bad thing, mind you), i went to an appointment scheduled appearantly that day at 5 PM, only to get there and not have the damn doctor be there. understand, i was DROPPED there. no parents, no phone, nothing. you can imagine, i got fucking pissed. i ended up circling the plaza i was in, looking for a phone. i eventually found a chiropractor's office with a nice guy at a reception desk who gladly lent me a cordless phone. after several calls, including one to the doctor's machine, i eventually returned to his office, due to sarah's request that we wait in case he thought the appointment was an hour later. so we waited another hour, and he didnt show. however, to downplay this tragedy, i DID have my DS with me, and my newly purchased Final Fantasy IV Advance, which is turning out very nicely. you can imagine a final fantasy having a good story, but i'm unpleased to say it uses the atb system. in any case, the characters are well animated, and the story is still great. lots of suspense and mystery, typical to final fantasy. anyway, the day after that was pretty simple. dinner at arby's, and a relatively long walk with sarah. i'm still excited though. my interview tomorrow has me wondering what i'm going to wear... well, actually my MOM wants me to worry. anyway, it'll go fine, i can tell. once i can get this job, i can start collecting cash more. PS3 here i come. thanks for reading. i wanted to get this stupid day behind me.
