As You Lay Sleeping....
A Poem From My Heart
You have been through so very much, ALL of your life, from beginning to present day. I have only seen a small portion of your pain, but what I've seen is more than enough for me to know that you deserve to have a little Peace, Joy, Light and Love in your Life! Most of all, Love! And My Sweet, you definitely have THAT! :O)
Just a few words to express this Love, to share with you and anyone else who can relate to them!

As you lay sleeping, with your angelic face
Resting peacefully upon your pillow,
I wonder, "What is going on in his head "this" night?"
Is it snips and snails and puppy dog tails?
Or demons chasing along dark corridors?
You have lived such a very long life
For the short years you have been on this planet,
And I hope and pray that all the days ahead
Bring you happiness, peace and joy,
For the man you are, and also the boy.
Pain seems to engulf you at every turn,
Bringing with it insight and wisdom,
Which I suppose is a good thing????
I'm not so sure, sometimes.
Especially when I am witness
To the brutal side of this journey,
The likes of which I have never encountered before.
As you lay sleeping,
Tossing and turning,
Laughing and frowning,
Giggling and crying,
I wonder, "WHY must he endure so much?"
And then a soft "touch" from Within
Gently hugs my Heart
And I am reminded that all is well,
"All is as it should be", I hear a soothing voice say.
And once again I am comforted,
Knowing that no matter what happens,
Everything is perfectly perfect,
Always!!!!
