New Year Resolutions

January is nearly over and I’ve finally decided on my New Year’s Resolutions.

A few of them relate to lj so I am posting them here to commit myself.

# 1: I will delurk and actually post on my lj.

Shyness is truly ridiculous online (and illogical) so I will get over it!

# 2: I will comment on every fic I read.

2. I'm the same way sometimes.. I always want to comment, but then I worry that if I don't leave more than 1-2 lines I'm not leaving a proper comment.. But then I think of my own fic, and how happy I am with any/all comments I receive (regardless of how long or short they are) and that makes me feel better about the comments I leave.

I didn't really get it until I wrote a story of my own and was so thrilled to get comments.
I'm thinking I will leave short(ish) comment just so the author knows I've read and enjoyed their story. Then if I'm so madly in love with story that I have to re-read several times I can angst over more detailed review and comment again later :)
