Today is a very good day :)
Today my sister went to see her consultant to get the results of her MRI. The tests show that her treatment appears to have been successful. A previous scan in the middle of her radiation treatment showed tumour had halved. Now there is no sign of cancer. She will need a biopsy in a few weeks to check the cervical tissue is clear of cancerous cells and may still need a hysterectomy but hopefully she has this beat. It's impossible to describe how happy I am at this moment. I just wish I could get home for a visit to hug her in person. Summer can't come quick enough!
