- Keats: "D&C want me to clean house on the last three years of cases. Build up a profile of the long-term efficiency of this department."
Gene: "Oh, be a man, Jim. Let's just call it snooping, eh?"
Keats: "Well if you want to know, the Home Office has asked Special Branch to take care of this arson case."
Gene: "Over my dead corpse."
- Keats: (quitely) "Don't feel you have to prove yourself to the Guv because of mistakes you've made in the past, Ray."
- Ray's reaction to Chris offering to resusitate him. XD
- Keats looking a bit other-wordly...

- The appearing/disappearing stars connection between Alex and Shaz, and the clown from Season 1 ---> more to these two ladies??

- Keats: "I'm gonna unearth you, Hunt. Expose you to the air..."
What an odd choice of words and 'bells tolling' - all references to death. Is that young policeman Gene and Keats somehow knows? Or what about the recent unearthing of the police officer (unknown gender) - is it them??
- Gene: "What is it with women and fireman? It's pathetic. You're wanting to side down his pole next."

Gene: (stuck between Alex and Shaz at Luigi's) "I feel like the filling in a feminist sarnie."
- Ray paying for that taxi home = ♥
- Alex: "I want you to tell me exactly what happened at that polling station last night."
Barney: "I sprayed a wall. That's it. What's your bra size?"
Alex: "Out of your league; that's my bra size."
- Barney: (looking between Alex and Gene) "Do you two have sex with each other?"
Gene: "Right..."
(Grabs Barney by the ear and drags him out of the interview room all the way to reception.)

- Probably looking loads into this but regarding Alex's comment about Gene throwing Barney into the cell that smells of vomit - didn't Sam protest about something similar?
- Keats stop iiiiiiiiit lol.
- Keats: "Gene Hunt is an amazing fella, amazing, but you don't need him."
He is determined to break these guys all up... :(
- Is it just me or does this look like Gene's representing Ray's 'good' side on his right and Keats the 'bad' on the left? ;)
- Keeping in with the wild west theme on opposite ends of town (or office in this case).

Shaz: "I think he's a bit posh for me, ma'am."
Alex: "Well somebody from one class can still find somebody from another class attractive. (Looks up to see Gene coming up to the bar) Maybe not attractive. Quite fond of, in a funny sort of a way."

- Ooooooooo Ray has a zoom-in-zoom-out moment like Shaz last week when Gene complimented/promoted them! More of LOM/Nelson there too?? WHAT IS GOING ON. ARE THEY ALL GOING TO EXPERIENCE THIS AT SOME POINT? ARE THEY ALL IN COMAS?? IF SO, HAVE THEIR COMA-STATE MINDS ALL CROSSED PATHS? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!1!!1
