- Gene: "Is there a musical called 'paint your wagon shit coloured?'"
- Oooooooh the blind's gone down in Gene's office... o.O
- Gene: (as Alex comes into his office) "I didn't say come..."
Alex: "I'm a modern girl, I'll come when I want."

Gene: (after a pause) "No."
Alex: "Please. Just talk to me."
(long glance between the two, Gene breaking it turning to take a swig of whiskey from his glass)

- In The Air Tonight playing in sync with the main office lights going out = MADE. OF. WIN. Interesing that when Gene left the office the lights went out towards it, but when Alex left, the lights when out away from the office...hmmm...something to do with possible sides???

- I wonder what Ray is up to because Gene seemed genuinely surprised to see him at the Masons gathering; is Ray 'undercover' like Gene or is he up to something more sinister and if so, will he stab Gene in the back in the end???
- Gene: (to Alex, playing up as Mackintosh is in the room) "Shut up you thorn in my delightful derriere."
