In other 'news', I tagged along with my eldest cousin & his wife (plus up-coming baby #2) last night to see Mamma Mia. It was a bit...meh. :/
- I wasn't really blown away by it (and I think my mum is disappointed that I wasn't since she loved it) and wouldn't see it again, put it that way.
- I love Pierce Brosnan, and he may have been James Bond but OMG the guy cannot sing; it was cringeworthy having to sit and listen to him do SOS (and 2 other songs which I've forgotten)!
- I did like Colin Firth though, despite the fact that I'm not really a CF fan. He can sing quite well and it was cool seeing him play guitar. I also thought it was hilarious at the end when the water comes up through the crack in the floor, soaks everyone and he rips his shirt off and gets with another fellow gay bloke. ♥ :D
- Is there no end to Meryl Streep's talents?! :P The woman can sing, and she did it brilliantly particularly The Winner Takes It All. *nods*
- Stellan Skarsgard's unexpected naked bum was unexpected. XD
- Bit disappointed that the story never does reveal who Sophie's real dad is since that's pretty much the entire plot...
