well we reeeeally want to move up to the SF bay area, but so far nothing has opened up there. alex just applied to a job in denver, CO but he thinks he's underqualified so that's probably a no go.

I USED TO THINK I COULD NOT GET MUCH NERDIER, AND NOW I REALIZE THAT THERE ARE ACTUALLY ZERO LIMITS TO MY NERDINESS. IT HAS ONLY INCREASED IN RECENT YEARS. IDK IDK HATERS GONNA HATE

ok honestly about FMA. i tried about three times to read the manga. i just need to accept the fact that i am not a manga/comic book/graphic novel person. only one i've ever vaguely liked was watchmen. anyway moral of the story, i could not get into the FMA manga.

so i tried watching the first episode of the anime and i...don't think i finished it. but maybe i need to try again? because literally EVERYONE is obsessed with it and i feel like i'm missing out.

you guys in sf would be awesome. i approve. but i can understand that finding a job would be difficult so hopefully something pops up that'll work for you guys

and dude i feel you about the nerdiness. this last year it's gotten so much worse for me. lauren and i are in the middle of a dungeons and dragons game with ju and it's just ridiculous.

i can't read mangas. i've tried for sailor moon which i looove and can't get into them so try with just the anime first. if you have netflix, fullmetal alchemist: brotherhood (which is the one you should watch, not the original) is on instant watch so give it another try. if you watch 2-3 episodes and still aren't too into it, i'll have to sever all ties and disown you, but oh well. srsly though, ju, lauren and i all think you'll love it and i've become freaking obsessed with it. so try it again!!!

ok... this seems like a lot but watch the first 5 episodes... a lot of shit happens and it takes that long to really get into it... JUST WATCH IT OK?! plz & ty <3
