Here we have a crab and wine season. Both - very good. Clams, mussels, langoustines etc. are not bad either, even in their 'low's. SF cuisine is mostly fusion, and probably this is the best place to try it. Going to Napa valley on the weekend to discover wineries... Getting more into wine these days. Perhaps it's climate.
Was driving around SF with my jeweller-antique colleague, enjoyin hills and parks, and of course architecture - which is fabulous to me. Interesting to know, that all these nice buildings were constructed just after the earthquakes of 1906 and 1989, when literally everything was levelled dun. Young city. While driving saw a cheeky one sneaking to and fro, with the numberplate 'MOCKBA' in Latin letters. My, why am not surprised?
Went to the dance party tonight to the Mtn View swingdance club. It's a good good one. Good balance, good atmosphere, more fun than training; however missing fast tempo and balboa (and BB partners). @the party they had a 30-min performance by the club members. Basically, anyone who wants can take part; Roma and Ira were the stars. Dasha and James were pretty good too. I am surprised how many ppl know about Ru events, xmas camp and the like. Our teachers, Kevin & Jo are 2b teaching LH in MXC-2012. Looking forward to it.
Tomorrow there's an event in Frisco, at 9-20, but i'm not going to drive and walking there is absolutely unsafe. You can get stabbed in the middle of a day for your purse if turn to the wrong street. Difficult to get it, but it's true. So i'm kinda not sure what am i up to after dinner with another friends of mine - maybe just go back to the safe place here. But on Sun the same venue will host Max & Annie workshop... so it's a 'maybe' - in between Napa and Fort Ross. Maybe-maybe they'll get invited to one of the Ru events in the future)

were lucky with the weather today. normally its heavily misty.
