Has she been on a Zen retreat before? I'm interested in going to this buddist place in the woods of Massachusetts, but I don't know how long I could take it.

I've never even tried meditating, once. Unless you count trying to focus my anger hard enough to make someone's head explode "meditating".

I've tried that shit. That or, like, watching flames erupt from their navel and spread like the opening to Bonanza, just cremating them from the inside.

I usually feel that when I'm listening to Playing With Fire, one of the best-named albums ever made.

Pierce and Co. knows how to name albums.

But it really makes you feel that?

Slowly spreading intense fire from my navel? Absolutely. It's always been my image with that album, when I hear it, forever. The fire inside.

Fucking hell, dude. I'm gonna pull that out tonight and see where it takes me again.
It's been about 4 months since I even touched a Spacemen album. I'd say I'm about due.

yes, exactly. Not saying i'll see what you see, but perspectives are always welcome.

if you ever perfected that focusing the anger thing and actually did make someone's head explode, or even just smoke up a little bit, you could give an altogether different retreat...

and make a fortune teaching those of us who really deserve to learn.

What sort of retreat is she attending? My Sean was sposed to attend a 10 day Vipassana retreat, I was gonna drive him to the place near Plano TX on
Christmas day, it was to be the first time in almost 14 years he had left the city and it was the one day in at least as long that it fucking snowed and we couldn't access I-10 north btw N.O. and Baton Rouge on accounta black ice. Anyway, his retreat sounded intense, ten days, silence, no speaking, minimal noise, no scented soap, deoderant, no distraction, nothing but meditating for 14 hours a day, in silence, for ten days.

He is my hero for even thinking of doing such a thing.

Yer gal is a-buh-dorable, playa!
