what?
Last night I dreamed that I watched the live action Rurouni Kenshin movie. Only it was hilariously bad. For one thing, the sakabatou had a GUN attached (this makes me laugh so hard). For another, there were cars in the movie, like, modern day sedans, only they were done with bad 80s animation, like someone had forgotten to tell the person in charge of the car special effects that it was a live action movie.
I feel like now I can never watch the actual movie, because on some level I'll be disappointed that it's not like my dream version.
In other news, I continue to obsess over the exchange rate. I got really excited a couple weeks ago that it might actually hit 100 (I took a screencap of it at 99.55), but now it's gone back down to ~97. I keep reminding myself that this is light-years better than what it was a few years ago, but I really want that symbolic victory of it going over 100 again.
In other other news, I'm addicted to nail polish. Julep is a bad company and should feel bad about what it's done to my wallet. Or it should feel bad about the website errors that prevented me from placing an order yesterday. Or both.
ETA: omg, the Hyperbole and a Half book is actually going to be a thing!!
