I think I am too late for any religious observances, but I hope everyone is enjoying whatever holiday break they may be having or have had. After a lovely week of WAY too much eating with my brother, we took him to the airport early this morning (like, SUPER early), and then came home and took naps and lazed around all day, like we were the jet-lagged ones or something.
In addition to, for some reason, reading a bunch of Baby-sitters Club slashfic (look, if this is wrong, I don't want to be right, OK) today, I finally got around to watching the final episode of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. Never said anything about last week's episode either, which was basically everything I wanted it to be. The scene in the rain was just--perfect, basically. I was worried about that episode being 11--surely they wouldn't end on a Chiaki episode?--but so, SO happy to see the series go out on the Takano POV flashback, which is, seriously, THE BEST. EVER. (When I first read this story, I was sort of really relieved that Takano's inviting Ritsu to his house--where, you know, they totally have sex--doesn't take place directly after Ritsu's confession, which is how it sort of seems from the Ritsu POV flashbacks.)
It will be sad to not have this to look forward to every week. :/ And, more annoying, Amazon Japan has changed its shipping policy, so it seems the second season DVDs are all going to ship to me at once, in May. IN MAY. I mean, OK, not like I put every first season DVD in the player as soon as I got it or anything, but seriously, MAY? /sighhhhhhh

Chihayafuru - resumes 1/3
[Really, really like this show so far; Chihaya is a super fun character. Hopefully we'll get to see more of Arata in the next season? Taichi's OK, I guess, but...meh.]
Hunter x Hunter - resumes 1/7
[Are you serious, a recap at episode 13? When the WHOLE SERIES is a recap? PS somehow really disappointed that Hisoka and Illumi weren't playing cards at the bottom of Trick Tower. Come on, this MUST be canon, don't try to tell me it's not.]
Not sure if there's anything new starting that I want to watch. Maybe Recorder to Randoseru (1/6)? I am sort of intrigued by the premise. Or grossed out, it's hard to tell sometimes.
