A mixed blessing for fandom

"Watchmen" is currently in TNT's rotation on television. On the one hand, I'm thrilled to see it in the "mainstream" so more people can get a glimpse of it. On the other, it's so edited and diluted beyond even what the theatrical release did, that the level of compromise resulting would give Rorschach fits for a week...
