Republicans *separated* the collective bargaining section of the so-called Budget Repair Bill, voted on it, and passed it 18-1.
Proves without doubt that this was never a financial issue, as they stated, since the overall budget and repair bill remain untouched.
Also, it was likely illegal as the vote was cast while the Capitol was *not* open to the public, which is in clear violation of established law.
Fallout: The Democrat Assembly (still in the state; only the Senators are gone) are holding 24-hour sessions in the Capitol which means the public are permitted to come in - and stay in, as long as sessions are underway.
Bedding is being delivered to the Capitol.
