Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt is speaking once again about the proposal (outlined by the New York Times
here) concerning federal funding of health care that had so many people (myself included) in an uproar.
He is currently saying the draft proposal that would have included birth control in the legal definition of abortion was not what he intended.
(*raising eyebrow* Mm-hmmm...)

In my not-so-humble opinion, he is still walking a nasty religion-based line. At best, he's being naive. At worst, a genteel zealot. I don't like either one.
