“Come out, Clark. I won’t laugh.”
“No, and yes you will.”
“How do you know? Because, unlike you, I can’t see through walls…unfortunately.”
“It sticks to everything.”
“You’re the one that wanted to be aerodynamic.”
Silence. And then. “Ok, promise you won’t laugh?”
“Of course. Luthor’s don’t lie.”
Out came Clark in blue spandex and red boots.
“See, no laughter.”
“You’re face’s red and your lip’s bleeding,”
“I’m just glad you finally came out of the closet.”
“Yeah. Right.” Clark abruptly turned. As soon as the door closed, Lex lost it and crumpled into a fit of unbridled sidesplitting laughter.
