The line "Not surprisingly, it was a voodoo doll of William Blake" was supposed to be a joke in that carving a voodoo doll of William Blake is not a common occurrence. It's just meant to be vaguely absurd, like "I was wondering where my mother was. Not surprisingly, she was on the roof eating a penguin ( ... )

Franz Kafka was an incredibly surreal writer back in The Day. That's why I was afraid people might have read something into the reference, because his stuff is so surreal and multi-layered. I'd hate for people to think my stuff was like that. You know... good ( ... )

The dates on this thing must be for some other time zone I spose, cos I sent the sms before I posted that message...

It's funny how someone can be "the Greatest" at something, yet I've never heard of them. There should be some mandatory education unit at school for such things. It makes me feel like I'm missing ouut somehow.
