Truffles
Went to the Mundaring Truffle Festival yesterday.
It was a good day, and I enjoyed it. Found some nice produce.
I'm undecided about truffles though. Yesterday was the first time I've tried them, but I'm not really sure whether I fully appreciate their value. I'm well aware of their economic value, but culinary value is a different story.
I've come to the conclusion that I need to test them in a dish against a control dish. You know, one with truffles and one without. Just to see if I can determine and appreciate the difference.
