So as I've probably mentioned a few times in this community, my father passed away 3 years ago. I am super close with my mom, so I'll be dancing with her! It's going to be totally awkward, but I don't care. It'll make her happy. So my question is this....any good ideas for songs? She wants "Isn't She Lovely" but the more I think about it, I think it's a little to fast. It's gonna be awkward enough, hah. Her next request was "In My Daughter's Eyes" by...Martina McBride, I think. Any other suggestions? And has anyone seen a mother/daughter dance? People seem surprised when I say I'm dancing with her.
And on a funny note...I've been trying to find a way to incorporate McDonald's into my wedding. FH's parents own a franchise, FH has worked for them since he was 12 (10 years!) and will eventually buy his own, etc. So basically, McDonald's will be our life. Plus, I just started working in his parents' office so I could learn the business side and work with him, so we are both McEmployees. Anyway, I was searching for "McDonalds" on limewirejust to see, and a Weird Al song by a random guy popped up called "In Love with a McDonald's Girl." It's pretty funny, and I hope I can talk FH into using it.
