Mod Post - Let Me Introduce Myself
Hello all you lovelies! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you all. My name is Kelly and I am the new Mod for Weddingplans and I am super excited to get to know each and every one of you and to get this community hopping again!
Thanks to all of you who posted in the "Show Me Your" post from yesterday! Keep them coming! My goal is to have a "Show Me Your" post every few weeks. I think it's a great way to get to know one another.
Also, don't be afraid to not only use the community as a sounding board for when you have questions or concerns but feel free to post things that interest you. Were you at a wedding that had some unique elements? Post about that here. Maybe they had a custom or tradition that you didn't understand or question how that started. Let's talk about it!
Finally, don't forget to post wedding updates. Usually we see those a year out, then 6 months, then 3 months than right before the day of. We all enjoy watching each other's visions come alive!
As always, remember to keep the snark out of the community. We all have different tastes and beliefs so I don't want to have to ever "play mom" with ya'll! Now, if you ask for opinions, you are going to get them and sometimes you may not love them but each of us has to be cognizant to state our opinions in a kind manner.
