How Long Do Alterations Take?
I just want to make sure I'm within a reasonable timeline here...
My bridal gown is due to be delivered in July, however the designer is pretty popular at the moment so I'm preparing myself for maybe August. Since my wedding is in mid October, this effectively gives me maybe a little more than two months for alterations. I'm also considering a bit of customization, if I have enough time/money to do so (I want to switch out the built-in sash for one another color; not as straight-forward as it sounds, for the construction of the sash is a little complicated).
How long did your alterations for your dress take? Was it only for size alterations or was any customization involved?
