I come bearing more questions. Sorry about that ;]
1. I'm inviting some ladies and their husbands. I know the ladies' first and last names, but don't know the names of their husbands. Do I address the invitation as Lady'sFirstname Lastname + Guest or Mr. and Mrs. Last Name Only?
2. I'm struggling with the guest book. Most of the ideas I see floating around aren't really appealing to me. I think the idea least objectionable to me is the hand-drawn image with people's signatures or thumbprints. But I feel like so many people have either a tree or the balloons and I don't really want something that everyone else has. Not that it has to be something never seen before, but something a bit more unique. Two ideas that I've found online that I like are having people fill out Rolodex cards (their info on onside of the card and a message on the other side) or bring squares of fabric that I could eventually have made into a quilt. The question is, how do I ask people to do this? We have a wedding website that people know about - would it be best to post it there? Is this a feasible idea or do you think people won't really participate? Any other ideas/opinions welcome.
Thanks everyone! :)
EDIT: Since I was already planning to frame the map of the park where we got engaged, I'm considering either having guests sign the map directly or do a photomat around it (although it's already fairly large) for them to sign. Two birds with one stone! :) Thanks for your helpful input, everyone.
