Dennis asked me to marry him on my 22nd birthday in September of last year. Prior to that date, we had already known that we wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, and he had gotten me a promise ring the year before. While we were eating dinner, Dennis commented that my promise ring looked dirty and asked me to pass it under the table so he could clean it. I slid my hand under the table to let him take it from my hand. He made a show of looking at it in the light and polishing it with the tail of his shirt. He then put his hand under the table to return the ring to my finger...only to reveal a new engagement ring. It was a wonderful night. We're having our rehearsal dinner at the same restaurant where we got engaged this upcoming Sunday!
This is us at a flash mob/pub crawl event in San Francisco called "The Brides of March" on the Ides of March of this year! It's been a pretty bridal year for us!
