tux rentals
so the 3 groomsmen are all living out of town (1 - 3 hours away). My fiance has been contacting them all for the past year via email and it has been like pulling teeth concerning the tuxes. We finally got the measurements for one, and still waiting on the other two to tell us theirs (wedding is July 7, so I'm potentially freaking out at how slow they are). Also, the business we are renting from needs us to pick up the tuxes July 5 and said the guys should try them on that day too. But as I said, they are all from out of town and some of them are working that day (and not arriving in town until 8 pm). So getting all three to come try on the tuxes is pretty well impossible. I am wondering if we'll even be able to get them to come up for a rehearsal the night before the wedding!
So am I supposed to just hope the tuxes fit the guys? I can't force them to come earlier to try on a tux, but my goodness it's been such a pain sorting these tuxes out! My fiance has been in contact with the for a year since he asked them to be in the wedding party and he's had to continuously hound after them. And one of them is a bit flustered at having to wear a pink tie. He asked if he could tell his buddies it was for breast cancer. For goodness sake, isn't saying it was because it was for a wedding decent enough??? It's just a tie! Not like it's the entire suit!
I'm just a bit annoyed. anyone else have similar problems where wedding party members were just hard to get a hold of/very slow to reply/didn't seem to take into consideration your wedding is a month away!?!
