Anyone got any good, different ideas for what to have the ring bearer and flower girl carry/do?
I'm having an ocean-themed wedding, if that's helpful. I'm not a fan of pomanders, and those "here comes the bride" signs aren't my style. I could go with the usual pillow and basket of petals, but my flower girl is going to be 2 1/2, so I'm not sure if she'll be able to toss petals, though I could just get her a small bunch of flowers and put them in a basket, I guess. And most people don't give the rings to the ring bearer (ours will be... 5, I think, then?) to carry ('cause they might drop/lose them), right? So that seems, well, if nothing else, like a waste of money, to buy a pillow and fake rings just for show. I'd like to come up with something different, if I can.
Also, on a totally unrelated note... what do you do with your wedding website? I kind of want to spread the extra info to people (once the site's totally done, which it isn't quite), but... you can't put it on the invitations, right? Maybe on the back of the invitation? Somewhere else? What did you all do?
And speaking of invitations, anyone got any pics of how they did their RSVP cards for a plated dinner (with a choice of entrees)? I'm not sure how to design it so it's easy to get the information we need and doesn't look cluttered/crowded.
