Hoping for feedback on my dress and my wedding party atire, thanks

Ok, so I was hoping I could use you fine lovely people for a soundingboard for what I'm planning, and what I have done already? My fiance, the one who wants to be surprised by my dress and all of the female finery on the wedding day, is usually the one I go to for fashion advice, checking colors, etc, so he's out of the question. 2 of my 5 brides' maids are blind, and the 3 sighted ones are a very scary soon-to-be sister-in-law who's opinions I don't really trust, a different soon-to-be sister-in-law whose tastes are very young, and not at all similar to mine, and a wonderful artistic friend a long ways away who can't help me much. Add to that that my fiance is usually my picture taker, I'm as likely to snap a shot of the dress as of my eye, thank you iPhone, so maybe you all can help.

I will get the names of the colors and the style numbers for the dresses and post the website, so that any generous/curious soul who feels enclined can go look at what I've picked out so far to give any feedback or suggestions. I'll get that info and update the post, edditing it, tomorrow with the info. But, here's the gist of the idea...

I am putting everyone in a different color of dress, with a rainbow theme. I'm going for rich, vibrant, sort of jewel tones, not florescently bright, not pastelles, not to heavy or dark. I'm in a yellow, that theoretically is quite bright, rich, a true yellow, not greenish or orangish, not pale and washed out or school bus yellow either, maybe lemon yellow. I'll get a picture of that, even if it's a bit off, as the dress has been ordered and I have it. I'm just months and months away from having it fitted. I have 5 brides' maids. Kaitlyn, who has blue eyes, red hair and very pale pink complected skin is in a jade green dress, that's ordered, but not yet arrived. Amanda, with very dark brown, almost black hair, and a fairly light hispanic complection is in a deep, but not too dark purple, that they call violet, that is ordered and arrived, so a blurry picture may be possible. Every single brides' maid asked if they could have purple when I pitched them the idea, so one more brides' maid, probably Sara, will be getting another shade of purple, a bit lighter, but hopefully equally as vivid. I want one girl in each color of the rainbow, so Heather, will probably get a nice deep dark pink, that boarders on red, but is deffinitly pink, and Candice will probably be getting an orange. She has pale caucasian skin and dark brown hair, and bright fun colors work well on her, so I think this is ok, and not bridzillaish of me, I hope? My mother is going to wear a shade of blue, that is pretty dark, but not navy dark, maybe cobalt dark, and again, not dul, vibrant, and my fiance's mother is getting a dress in another shade of blue, probably something lighter, but not powder blue, maybe sky, or a bit darker than that. So, that's pink, in place of red, because red's a bit heavy for a summer wedding, no? orange, yellow, green, two shades of blue, and two shades of purple.

I want to know if you all think the following idea is A. encredibly tacky, cank the idea immediately? B. an awesome idea, go for it? or C. Maybe tacky, maybe awesome, we'll need pictures to give you the best feedback? I have a guide dog, my mom has a guide dog, my fiance has a service dog and one of my bride's maids has a guide dog, and I was thinking of getting swatches of cloth and making them bandanas. Not the checkered hickish sort, but smoothe swatches of silky fabric to cover their neck and shoulders in a color that either matches the dress of the person with the dog, or that is a complementary color. A rough idea was red on my mother's black lab, who is a boy, very striking?, she'll be in the medium to dark blue. Another shade of a green that is yellowish, they have a fabric called Kiwi, or a nice yellowish orange, for my black and tan, long haired german shepherd, I'm in yellow. A lighter third shade of purple for Amanda's black lab, maybe also striking like the red and black? And, for my fiance's dog, a golden color, as he'll be in his Marine Corps dress blues, and the Marine Corps colors are red and gold.

Well, those are my thoughts, and later I will add in a cut with pictures, as best I can take, plus the web address of the store, the style numbers and the color names. Also, if this is too big, I can make a cut for most of this info, just please someone let me know, and I'd be happy to figure out how to do that. Have a great night all.
