Man of Honor
So, I'm having a man of honor instead of a maid of honor!

My best friend of 19 years - crazy how time flies - is onboard. He is also close friends with my fiance so for the longest time we couldn't decide how to "share" him. We'd considered using him as the officiant, but he was a little uncomfortable with that. I think I want a professional handling the actually wedding part of my wedding anyways!
Friday, my fiance gave me his blessing to steal our friend to my side. I asked him over the weekend. He'll be my only attendant. While I have heard of it done, I have never been to a wedding with a man of honor myself so...at the beginning of the ceremony will he walk down the aisle by himself, or maybe with the best man? How is that usually handled?
Would he still put a wedding shower together? He's already gotten excited about handling the bachelorette party, lol!
