Animal Center Pieces
Hi All!
I'm a bridesmaid in a wedding at the Maryland Zoo in October 2012. A long way off I know! The bride has given me the task of looking for centerpiece ideas. Here's the kicker - she wants to use animals as table names/numbers (so the guests would be seated at the "giraffe" table or the "lion" table). She's planning to order these paper mache animals:
She wants the animals to the part of a larger centerpiece.
Has anyone seen any good centerpieces that involve animals, or could involve animals? I'd like to see whatever you've got!
Extra points if it can be DIYed! I'm an art teacher and the bride works in the arts - so we're pretty crafty and would like to help out the wedding budget by making the centerpieces ourselves. But we might be able to adapt anything you find, so DIY is not a must.
