breaking the glass...barefoot
It has always been my dream to get married barefoot. I always pictured it outdoors, with me in a light flowy gown, but even though I'm indoors in a princess gown, I still want to be barefoot! My very soul strains against shoes, and I definitely want to feel free and open on my wedding day. Only issue is...my fiancee is Jewish so we're doing a breaking of the glass, and I don't want to bleed all over the quaint wood chapel floor!
So for those of you who have done/are doing breaking of the glass, or have seen it done before, is there a way to do it safely barefoot? like would using a thick enough bag be enough protection? or am I doomed to wear shoes?
