Lately we've been trying to figure out an overall budget for our wedding. We're thinking between $10K-$15K Does anyone have their budget's laid out in that price-range?? I'd really like to see them, I feel like random costs keep popping up x_x weddings are expensive.
Secondly, we want to ask my uncle to be the officiant at our wedding, but I'm having a horrible time writing up an email to send him. My family is pretty spread out so I usually only see him at family reunions and such, and he co-officiated two of my cousins' weddings, so I want to ask in a way that doesn't sound like I just expect that he'll do it. We were also going to offer to pay for his (and my aunt's) hotel stay while they're in town. Anyone already gone through this? or have some wording advice? Letters aren't really my strong suit :/
