83 days out!
So it has literally almost been a year since I've posted anything. I kept meaning to, and then didn't, or trying to wait for a nice, round number... anyway, a brief reminder and then lots of pics:

Wedding Colors: light/steel blue, forest green, dark reddish
Let's start with engagement pictures, those were taken almost a year ago at this point (we've had a pretty long engagement). Done by our wedding photographer, Two Birds Photography
We got our wedding rings in not too long ago... He's got a pretty simply titanium band, I ordered four. Big fan of symmetry, so I wanted thin bands on either side of me engagement ring, and got two sets of them: plain for everyday wear and something a little fancier. I also love the ability to mix and match and just wear some of the bands as my wedding set.
A reminder of some old stuff since I'm sure no one remembers, our wedding colors: Blue's my favorite, green's his, and his mother is Chinese and would really like some red in the wedding, which I think looks good, so... there they are:

We've got our caterer as well, and despite being quite the picky eater I'm really excited about the menu, particularly the bacon-wrapped chicken appetizer. Also picked out the cake, it's going to be chocolate and marble, both with a raspberry filling. I drew up a design for the cake... it's got a pine branch and some berries, along with little snowflakes. Kind of wish I had a picture. Linens are white with blue napkins, and then our centerpieces are low round dishes with some grass swirled around the outside and floating red roses. Again, no pictures.
Back to things I do have pictures of! My favorite picture of me in my dress! It's got a corset back as well which is one of my favorite feature, but not something my mom took good pictures of. My first fitting (and hair and makeup trial) are scheduled in abut three weeks - the next time I go home. (I may have forgotten to mention that I have moved to Seattle for work, and am planning this long distance.)
Also, my shoes! I love them, but I would die wearing them all day, so I'm changing into red Converse for the reception. We've figured out how to bustle my dress so the height difference isn't a big deal.
Next, a couple of inspiration pics for my hair... I want it half-down and half-up and pretty simple. I'm hoping the hair person can do something to give me a little more volume than I usually have. No make-up inspiration pics, but I also want pretty simple there. I rarely even wear mascara to work.
And now for my bestest friends... They're planning my bachelorette party in Vegas in four weeks (Vegas being one of my favorite places ever) and I cannot wait. They picked out the dress they're wearing, it'll be in the color of the one my MOH is holding up, and they're getting whatever silver shoes they want. No idea about accessories, I don't think I care what they wear? We've also picked out the boys attire, it looks pretty much like a tux. (Probably because it is one.) (Groom has a white vest, groomsmen are light blue, Dads and ushers are in black.)
Last but not least (and probably not actually last, just last that I happen to remember, I'm almost done designing all our wedding media (Good thing, since invites need to go out soon). Here's the idea for the invites:
We've done flowers and DJ and mostly written the ceremony, and my FMIL is working on favors, but I have no pictures of any of these things and I think this is long enough already, so I will just leave it at that!
