It seems to me like most people who choose to do an outdoor wedding choose live musicians for the ceremony music, but I wanted to use recorded music (mp3 or CD) for mine. I was planning on borrowing speakers from my Dad or just bringing my old stereo, since the ceremony music is not that important to me, but now people are telling me that it will be barely loud enough.
So how did you play your music?? There will be less than 60 people; I can't see how this will not be loud enough. It doesn't have to be party-level, just loud enough for the people in back to hear it.
On a slightly off note, I found a post about brides who chose to have no music at all for their ceremony. No one mentioned what the alternative was, though. If you had no music, what did you do for the processional? Did everyone just walk out onto the altar at once?
