Program question and all-inclusive resorts
Two questions (as the wedding looms closer I am full of them).
1. We are getting married on my parents anniversary, my mom is deceased. In our programs I am putting a picture of them on their wedding day, and it currently reads:
"A special thanks to my parents for sharing their day with us" then below that I have their names and their wedding date.
I find this awkward though, because I am thanking my parents, though my mom isn't "here" to be thanked. Would it sound better to say "A special thanks to my dad for sharing his day with us", and still include their names and wedding date? I'm still a little uneasy with that too though, as though it was just his day and not theirs. Ugh...suggestions?
2. We're honeymooning at an all-iniclusive resort in Jamaica (The Lady Hamilton & Grand Palladium to be exact). Do you tip at an all-inclusive resort? If it's included I don't want to pay more, but if not I don't want to stiff the waitstaff. My friend honeymooned at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico and she said they tipped, but another friend stayed at an all-inclusive in Jamaica (albeit a different resort from ours) and said no. I suppose I could call the resort, but I'm a little worried they'll say yes tip, even if it's built into the price (stupid I know), so I thought I'd see if anyone here has experience with it.
