Thought I'd share this idea with the class, for those of you who would like to do something to include your mother in the wedding ceremony:
I was watching Four Weddings last night (a sort of wedding game-show where four brides rate each other's wedding and the "best" one wins a honeymoon). One of the couples' ceremonies included a moment where both the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom came forward and the celebrant said something like "As your mother was the first one to welcome you into this world with a kiss, they are the ones you will give you your final kiss before you are married." It was a REALLY sweet moment, and darn it if I didn't start tearing up.
