Invitation Help!
Ok so I totally was not expecting the invitation part of this planning process to be as difficult as it is. My mom and I are having a hard time, mainly because invitations for us have always been through Evite, but obviously I can't do that for my wedding! It's the first impression people are going to get! I've found some I like online, but they're either expensive or Im not 100% in love with them. So I had a friend offer to design them for me however I want, but how are they printed and through whom? My concern with this is that I want a chocolate brown background with light green lettering, which means I'd rather have the paper brown, not brown printed on white.
this shouldn't be so complicated!
My question to you ladies, is:
If you had your invitations custom designed, who did them? Where did you get them printed? How much did they cost? Can I see a picture!?
If you ordered your invitations from a site, which one? How much did they cost? Can I see a picture?!
If you used Etsy, what vendor? How was the process? and once again...can I see a picture?!
These invitations are the start of the rest of the theme for the wedding, the placecards, STDs, menus, programs, etc etc all match, ugh stress! I know a lot of people use Etsy, but from what I was seeing, $3 each? wow. Not to mention I've never used Etsy before, so I'm not sure how it works.
