Invitations by Dawn Shipping Delay Update
Thanks to everyone who commented on my post about the delay in receiving my invitations.
I received a response from a representative saying she checked on my order, and there was an "Out of stock" hold on my order. The invitations themselves were out of stock when I ordered. I received no notification of that, and the website did not say the invitations were out of order.
The expected arrival date of the invitations at the company is 26 February 2010, printing should occur within 5 days of the 26th, and they will be mailed to me in 3-6 days.
Thanks for your ideas on how early to send out invitations. I'm much less concerned about the delay now!
So all in all, I'm glad I ordered my invitations early! I guess that's some advice for everyone! Some good advice I also received in the post is to check the invitations for accuracy as soon as they arrive. Sometimes there are mistakes, and they can be corrected if you order early.
