What to do at a shower?
FMIL and my mom are planning a bridal shower for me. I don't know why they are doing it, but they just took it and ran with it, so I guess that's fine. My MOH has a lot on her plate right now anyway, so it's all good.
FMIL told me that she didn't want to play any games. I know that most of them are lame, but it seems strange to be like "Hey! Come with a gift, and.... I guess you can have some food while you're here...." I feel like you should do something with the people while they are there. I don't want them to just watch me open gifts and then leave! I get the importance of mingling, but the 2 families can only mingle for so long!!!!
What did you do at your shower? If you had games that weren't lame, what were they? I'm expecting about 50 people, just in case that's important.
